Joining Awareness Theatre

Awareness Theatre is always looking for high school and college age volunteers interested in joining the Troupe. Whether you’re interested because you want to make the community a better place, because you’re looking for a place to use your acting talents, or just because you want to belong, we’d like to hear from you.

Unlike many theaters, we have no auditions. You can join any time. All you need to do is show up at the rehearsal nearest you and introduce yourself to the Director. He’ll introduce you to everyone else and you’re good to go. There are some permission slips for parents or guardians to sign, but other than that, you’re in.

We hold rehearsals once a week and we expect people to make their best effort to attend. You can find rehearsal days and times on the events calendar.

Due to the passing of CASAC’s Awareness Theatre Director John Blackman, Awareness Theatre is temporarily suspended. Inquires may be addressed to info@casacweb.org, or by calling the CASAC office at (716) 664-3608.
